Director, Ad Tech, Healio


Job Summary

The Director, Ad Tech is responsible for researching, ideating, and developing the path forward for Healio’s Ad Tech department. Healio is amplifying its capabilities into supply and demand facing ad tech. This position will oversee bringing the Healio Ad Tech mission to life: To seamlessly connect life science companies and HCPs through a unique blend of the latest technology within HCP media.

Reporting and Areas of Responsibility:

The Director, Ad Tech, reports directly to the Healio SVP, Analytics & Ad Tech. Ad Tech is a new division within the organization that will be closely aligned to Digital Ad Ops, Analytics, and Reporting teams. The Ad Tech division will shape the path forward by diversifying Healio’s ad tech offerings and pursuing Healio’s right to win in this space. This position will manage all tech related vendor relationships and drive the mission and vision forward.

Major Initiatives and Responsibilities:

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for Ad Tech by liaising between organizational leaders and industry contacts and partners
  • Evaluate, communicate, and present to leadership strategic recommendations regarding tech, beneficial vendor relationships, and yield management
  • Bring the Healio Ad Tech Mission/Vision to life
  • Determine and implement Healio’s ongoing niche in the market
  • Build revenue through diversifying the revenue streams
  • Work with internal teams such as Analytics, Reporting, and Ad Ops to determine best path forward
  • Staying up to date and current on industry innovation and best practices
  • Attend and potentially present at industry events and conferences


  • BS/BA degree in a related field
  • 8-10 years professional experience with the opportunity to have worked with the following:
    • Experience with Ad Tech
    • Proving value through performance and analytics
  • The ability to analyze and interpret data
  • A methodical and logical approach to problem-solving
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be able to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Vendor negotiation experience and skill


  •  Widespread industry contacts within Ad Tech and willingness to initiate discussions
  • Experience with Non-Personal Promotion within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Worked directly with Supply Side Platforms
