IT Systems Specialist

The IT Systems Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing network infrastructure and application components. Troubleshoot and resolve client computer hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner. Complete assigned Network projects on time and within specified budgets. Monitor IT Support ticketing system and respond to assigned trouble tickets, as necessary. Attend required IT Support meetings and assist VP of Cybersecurity and IT Services and Director of IT Services with network related issues and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Complete assigned daily network infrastructure duties
  • Network infrastructure troubleshooting and repair
  • Hardware and application troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Monitor IT Support ticketing system, respond to, prioritize, and resolve requests
  • New equipment setup and configuration
  • Create and maintain Active Directory user accounts
  • Create and maintain O365 users and mailboxes
  • Occasional local travel to offsite locations for IT related projects

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a corporate IT Support environment
  • At least 3 years supporting a Windows server and end user environment
  • Familiarity with supporting Android and IOS mobile devices
  • Highly competent supporting O365
  • Familiar with enterprise level cloud-based storage solutions
  • Competent working with network cabling from client to data center
  • Competent with Cisco backbone equipment including switches, routers, firewalls and wireless
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP configuration, troubleshooting and repair
  • Willing to work beyond scheduled hours to complete high priority projects
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Experience in the following areas a plus:

  • Sitecore or similar CMS platforms
  • AWS and Azure environments
  • Sophos or similar endpoint protection platform
  • Endpoint/remote management
  • Cloud based deployment/patching solution
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 policies and procedures

Candidate must be local to our southern NJ office to allow for working in a hybrid schedule.
