July 20, 2020
Thorofare, NJ — Healio CME has won an APEX Award for Most Improved Website. APEX Awards recognize excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence.
“Recognition for the redesign is a testament to our hard work and dedication to delivering the best online CME experience imaginable,” said Andrea Gaymon, M.Ed., UXC, Chief Experience Officer of Healio. “Physicians who participated in our usability studies described the new Healio CME as easy-to-use, well organized, sleek and intuitive. I’m very proud of Healio’s User Experience (UX), Design, Marketing and IT Developer teams for this achievement.”
The new site includes the My Healio CME personal dashboard, the ability to save progress within activities, tailored recommendations, a simple way to download transcripts and has been optimized to enhance usability on all devices and operating systems.
Healio CME was just the first step in a long line of enhancements being made to the Healio experience. In June, Healio announced the launch of the new, fully re-engineered Healio.com. The improved website offers an enhanced user experience aimed at providing specialty healthcare professionals with highly personalized news and education tailored to fit their daily practice of medicine.
“As a company and online platform, Healio has always been dedicated to the medical specialist,” said Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS, Chief Content Officer of Healio. “In that same spirit, and after extensive usability testing with HCPs, we set out to give users what they want most—a site that delivers trusted content easier, faster and smarter.”
Key features of the new Healio include:
• Transparent author/disclosure information
• Simplified navigation
• More personalization
• Time to read and save functions
• Dedicated author pages
• Sophisticated keyword tagging
Future releases already in development will bring the same commitment to user experience to all areas of the site and its platforms, by carrying over the sleek design, improved personalization and ease of use.
