Healio’s Creative Team Earns Top Honors at the 42nd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards

With over 4,300 entries evaluated, Healio’s campaigns stood out, earning multiple awards across key categories.

The creative team’s work was awarded as follows:

This recognition reflects the creativity, dedication, and teamwork behind the campaigns. “Storytelling and genuinely connecting with your audience as a brand has always been important, but now more than ever. The human element of content creation, leveraging your brand’s voice as a trustworthy resource and empathetic, relatable ally, has become crucial in crafting campaigns that resonate,” said Sarah Graham, Creative Director.

Julie Keenan, Healio Community Manager, also emphasized the importance of collaboration with healthcare professionals, particularly Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). “We are incredibly grateful for the relationships we have with KOLs, who help bring our campaigns to life. A national panel of judges evaluated each entry based on creativity, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design, and overall quality. The Healio team’s focus on empathetic, data-driven, and creative content captured the attention of industry experts.

Reflecting on the Viral Food Trends – Fact or Myth campaign, Justin Dalton, Associate Art Director, explained, “Conveying information clearly and concisely is always the goal, especially when it comes to critical health and wellness facts. But the real challenge is delivering these messages in a way that stands out. Creative thought is key to ensuring these essential messages break through the daily noise of media.”

The design behind these campaigns also played a crucial role in their success. “Design has the power to drive awareness around deeply emotional and serious issues, such as physician suicide,” said Lori Shields, Senior Designer. “This recognition reflects our commitment to using design as a tool for raising awareness and sparking important conversations that can make a real difference.”

For Amarie Mitchell, Senior Designer, contributing to the Healio Honors campaign was especially meaningful. “It was such an honor to help design this campaign.
