Human Resources Assistant

The Wyanoke Group is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the Human Resources department. Required skills include a strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision, and have a sense of urgency when appropriate, superior written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to take initiative and work independently.

The selected candidate must also be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism, possess the willingness to learn, be flexible and open to changing priorities, be energetic with a helpful demeanor, have a strong work ethic, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a steady workload.

Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office required. Previous Human Resources experience working with recruitment, onboarding and benefits are a plus.

Bachelor's degree preferred or acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent to one to three years' experience. Recent grad with strong administrative skills and human resources internship experience will also be considered.

Position is a full-time, in office opportunity, Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:00pm with the ability to work a hybrid schedule after 90-days of employment.

The annual base salary for this position is $40,000 to $43,000. Placement within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, knowledge, skills, education, years and level of experience, and equity with internal team members.
