Healio Releases Point-of-Care Resource: Clinical Guidance

Thorofare, NJ – Healio announced today the launch of its third channel, Clinical Guidance. This point-of-care tool, not freely available anywhere else, provides the health care community access to modules on medical conditions to help them treat patients accurately, confidently and with reliable information. Clinical Guidance joins Healio’s established and popular channels, News and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
“The launch of Clinical Guidance reinforces Healio’s position as the leading destination for health care providers to consume information,” said Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS, Chief Content Officer of Healio. “We are excited to provide our users with a go-to destination at the point of care, so they can make clinical decisions in a quick and efficient way.”
Through months of research and usability testing, Healio has engineered Clinical Guidance to be the future of great health care. It is the most significant addition to Healio in its 10 years, and a natural extension of the site’s tremendous growth.

Providers who participated in our usability studies described Clinical Guidance as user-friendly, detailed and informative.”
At launch, Healio has five modules available:
- Psoriatic Arthritis
- Psoriasis
- Atopic Dermatitis
- Type 2 Diabetes
- Obesity
Within each individual module, physicians can find layered clinical overview, treatment and diagnosis information created by physician authors and contributors. The easy-to-access site and clear information allows health care providers to navigate unique or difficult patient cases. Healio plans to release additional modules in the coming months, including Genomics, Immuno-Oncology and Lipid Management.
The entire foundation of Clinical Guidance is built upon the premise of keeping health care professionals and their needs top-of-mind. Providing personalized care in an ever-changing health care landscape can be challenging. Healio’s goal is for Clinical Guidance to be a valuable, added benefit to the health care community that provides a newly founded resource they can trust.
