Hansa Bhargava, MD, joins Healio as Chief Clinical Strategy & Innovation Officer
New role represents the company’s commitment to meeting physicians’ needs and interests

Thorofare, NJ — Healio is pleased to announce the appointment of Hansa Bhargava, MD, to the position of Chief Clinical Strategy & Innovation Officer. In this newly created role, Dr. Bhargava will drive innovation and guide the development of clinician-facing content and solutions that meet the needs and challenges of Healio’s physician community.
Dr. Bhargava will officially assume her new role this month, reporting to Healio Chief Content Officer, Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS.
“Hansa’s background as a board-certified physician combined with her extensive business development experience and industry knowledge make her uniquely qualified for this position,” Stiglich said. “Her passion for advocacy and improving health outcomes aligns perfectly with Healio’s mission.”
Dr. Bhargava brings more than 20 years of experience to Healio, having previously held positions at Medscape, WebMD, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Recent responsibilities have included steering business development, partnerships, and thought leadership for a variety of clinician-facing tools spanning digital health, mental health, women’s health, and COVID-19.
“The healthcare landscape is changing, from staffing models to innovation and AI, but the heart of it is still with clinicians,” Bhargava said. “I look forward to working with Healio to support our physicians holistically, with professional and personal balance, while helping to improve patient outcomes in the process.”
