Healio Announces New Partnerships with NPACE and Scrub Sisters to Provide an “Online Home” for Their Memberships

March 12, 2025

Thorofare, NJ – Healio Community, Healio’s new peer-to-peer platform, has partnered with Nurse Practitioner Associates for Continuing Education (NPACE) and Scrub Sisters to provide their members with a ready-made online space designed to foster meaningful connections and a thriving sense of community. This collaboration will empower these organizations to cultivate stronger member engagement by leveraging Healio Community’s established digital environment and resources.

“Healio Community is in a unique position to be able to provide an online home to healthcare organizations that may not have one,” said Stacey Adams, Vice President of Healio Community. “In providing a central hub for their members, we can help foster a sense of community, facilitate communication, and ultimately help strengthen relationships within their memberships.”

Launched in January of this year, Healio Community is a new online platform created exclusively for verified healthcare professionals to connect with colleagues across specialties on topics that matter most to them. With a focus on mental, physical and financial well-being, it aims to provide clinicians with the resources and support they need to thrive personally and professionally.

By utilizing private group capabilities, partner organizations can take advantage of everything Healio Community has to offer while still providing a private experience to their own membership.

Scrub Sisters, a dedicated group of female physicians and physicians-in-training, aims to create a nurturing and empowering community within the medical profession.

“Partnering with the Healio Community allows Scrub Sisters to expand our mission of supporting women in medicine by connecting with a broader network of healthcare professionals,” said Jacqueline Winkelmann, MD, FAAP, Founder of Scrub Sisters. “Together, we can foster meaningful conversations, share valuable resources, and promote the mental, physical, and financial well-being of women at all stages of their medical careers.”

NPACE, a national nonprofit organization that offers continuing education to nurse practitioners, is looking forward to boosting awareness and engagement of their educational opportunities.

“NPACE is excited to leverage Healio Community to provide advanced practice providers with opportunities to engage with one another regarding our continuing education opportunities,” said Josh Plotkin, COO of NPACE. “We also look forward to engaging with APPs on news and resources, Friends of NPACE podcast episodes and special opportunities for discounts for NPACE programming.”

All Healio Community members, including those who join with a partner organization, can take advantage of everything within the platform. This includes forums, direct messaging, exclusive events, news, mentoring programs, and a job board.
