Healio Gastroenterology to celebrate Disruptive Innovators at ACG

Thorofare, NJ — Healio is set to host the annual gastroenterology and hepatology Disruptive Innovators Award Reception during this year’s American College of Gastroenterology Scientific Meeting (ACG). The event will take place at the Omni Nashville Hotel on Sunday, October 11th, 2026.
This event will celebrate the pioneers and trailblazers shaping the future of gastroenterology. Whether they are a popular face on social media or have spent a lifetime making positive disruptions to the field, each of the awardees has made a lasting impact through their dedication to advancing gastroenterology. The event will be hosted by Edward V. Loftus, Jr., MD, and Ugo Iroku, MD.

- Woman Disruptor of the Year (Awarded in collaboration with Scrubs & Heels)
- Social Media Influencer (Awarded in collaboration with Healio Community)
- The Patient Voice (Awarded in collaboration with The Association for Black Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists)
- Health Equity Award (Awarded in collaboration with World Gastroenterology Organisation)
- Industry Breakthrough (Awarded in collaboration with Healio AI)
- Partner in Practice (Awarded in collaboration with the ROME Foundation)
