Healio Gastroenterology to honor Disruptive Innovators at ACG

Thorofare, NJ — Healio is set to host the annual gastroenterology and hepatology Disruptive Innovators Award Reception during this year’s American College of Gastroenterology Scientific Meeting (ACG). The event will take place on October 22nd, 2023, at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Hosted by Edward V. Loftus Jr., MD, and Ugo Iroku, MD, this event will celebrate the pioneers shaping the future of gastroenterology advancement. From social media game changers to lifetime disruptors, each of the awardees is breaking barriers and advancing the field with innovation.
“Dr. Iroku and I are excited to take the Disruptive Innovators Awards international and host this year’s event during ACG in Canada,” said Edward V. Loftus, Jr., MD. “The awards are presented to those leading the future of gastroenterology and we are excited to be a part of that.”

- Woman Disruptor of the Year (Awarded in collaboration with Scrubs & Heels)

- The Patient Voice (Awarded in collaboration with The Association for Black Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists)
- Health Equity Award
- Industry Breakthrough
- Allied Health Provider of the Year
