Tony Schiavo Promoted to Senior Vice President, SLACK Incorporated

Thorofare, NJ – SLACK Incorporated is excited to announce the promotion of Tony Schiavo to Senior Vice President of SLACK Incorporated. In this new role, Tony will head the SLACK Journals team and manage SLACK’s portfolio of journals, including some of the most respected publications in nursing, ophthalmology, and general medicine. Tony will oversee all aspects of journal publishing, which involve product development, editorial, production, marketing, sales, and fulfillment, and work very closely with Jennifer Kilpatrick, Vice President of Editorial for SLACK Incorporated.

Tony has been a leader on the SLACK Incorporated team for six years, directing the acquisitions efforts for several key SLACK Books lines. Most recently, Tony joined SLACK Journals to spearhead the launch of a new journal hosting product – Healio Journal Host. Tony’s wealth of business, sales, acquisition, and marketing experience make him the ideal candidate to lead SLACK Journals’ development and growth strategy in the years to come.
