Vindico Medical Education Takes Gold, Silver, and Bronze in Digital Health Awards

  • Gold Award Winner in the Digital Health — Social Media: YouTube Post Series category for “Life With Food Allergy: Educating Patients and Clinicians via Social Media”
  • Silver Award Winner in the Web-Based Digital Health — Interactive Content / Rich Media category for “PrEP’ing for HIV Prevention: An Interactive Guide for Patients”
  • Bronze Award Winner in the Digital Health Media / Publications — Medical Animation category for “Amylin Adventure: Biology and Modes of Action”

The Digital Health Awards honors the best digital health resources developed for consumers and health professionals. The awards program is organized by the Health Information Resource Center, which is a clearinghouse for professionals who work in consumer health fields.

“Life With Food Allergy: Educating Patients and Clinicians via Social Media” is a 4-part YouTube series featuring interviews between Kelly Cleary, MD, FAAP, and social media influencers whose lives are affected by food allergies. The series, intended to educate patients with IgE-mediated food allergies and their caregivers, was captured from an Instagram Live round-robin–style event that took place on May 21, 2025. Access the series, which was jointly provided by Vindico Medical Education and Food Allergy Research & Education and supported by an educational grant from Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, using this link.

“PrEP’ing for HIV Prevention: An Interactive Guide for Patients” is an educational resource tool intended for all sexually active adults and adolescents. The tool provides general information on PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and treatment options through an interactive, mobile-friendly format. “Amylin Adventure: Biology and Modes of Action” is an animated video that explores amylin’s role as a multifunctional hormone. The video aims to increase awareness among healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with obesity by outlining the role of amylin in the metabolic processes underlying obesity. Access the video, which is supported by an educational grant from Novo Nordisk, Inc., using this link.

Creative services for both “PrEP’ing for HIV Prevention: An Interactive Guide for Patients” and “Amylin Adventure: Biology and Modes of Action” were provided by Infograph-edTM.
