The DANDA Awards highlight the significance of design and aesthetics in healthcare, honoring outstanding contributions in both digital and physical/print-based materials.

“Eosinophilic Esophagitis Doctormentary: A Journey Through a Patient’s Eyes” is a 2-part docuseries following the journey of a patient, Max, with lifelong eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). The docuseries features Max’s healthcare team, including Dr. Evan Dellon, as they share real-world insights into tracking essential clinical information and coordinating across disciplines. This Docuseries was created in conjunction with an activity that was supported by an independent educational grant from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Sanofi. Access it here.

“Amylin Adventure: Demystifying the Role of Amylin in Obesity as an Emerging Therapeutic Target” is an educational resource tool that explores amylin biology and its therapeutic implications. The website reviews amylin as well as 3 other hormones—glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), and glucagon—and their various actions throughout the body. This website was created in conjunction with an activity that was supported by an independent educational grant from Novo Nordisk, Inc. Access it here.

Season 1 of “Lipid Legends: A Podcast Series for Clinicians” highlights clinical challenges and provides actionable insights into disorders, including elevated LDL-C, elevated Lp(a), lipodystrophy, pediatric lipid disorders, hypertriglyceridemia (HTG), and HoHF. Access the series here.
