Vindico Medical Education to Present Poster at the American Academy of Neurology 2024 Annual Meeting

April 16, 2024

Thorofare, NJ – Vindico Medical Education, A Wyanoke Group Company, is excited to announce that their poster titled “Using Gamified Continuing Education to Address Knowledge and Confidence Gaps Regarding Advances in the Management of Patients With Alzheimer’s Disease” will be presented on April 17, 2024, by Jennifer Frederick, PharmD, BCPS, Vice President, Scientific Affairs, during the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) 2024 Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado.

This poster illustrates the use of gamified continuing medical education to identify and address knowledge and confidence gaps related to the optimization of new therapies that target Alzheimer’s disease (AD) pathology. Findings showed that confidence scores were only moderate, even among neurology healthcare providers who answered knowledge-based questions correctly about the diagnosis and management of patients with AD, demonstrating the need for skills-based learning that may improve comfort in integrating new data into practice for the management of patients with AD.

The AAN Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of neurologists and neuroscience professionals and offers top-tier education, the latest in scientific discoveries, and an abundance of opportunities to connect with friends and colleagues from around the globe.
