Vindico Medical Education to Present Posters at ObesityWeek® and Scientific Sessions 2025

November 3, 2025

Thorofare, NJ – Vindico Medical Education, a Wyanoke Group company, is pleased to announce the presentation of posters “Leveraging Continuing Education to Navigate the Impact of Social Media in Obesity Care” and “Tethered Patient–Clinician Education to Improve Awareness and Treatment of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy: A Social Media–Driven Approach” at ObesityWeek® 2025 and American Heart Association’s (AHA) Scientific Sessions 2025, respectively.

ObesityWeek® is the leading international scientific conference on obesity. Each year, world-renowned experts in the obesity field gather to explore leading-edge science, clinical interventions, and policy approaches to combat the obesity epidemic. This year, it will be held November 4-7 in Atlanta, Georgia.

“Leveraging Continuing Education to Navigate the Impact of Social Media in Obesity Care” highlights the outcomes of the 2-day, interprofessional continuing education 12th Annual Obesity Forum® program, which was supported by an educational grant from Lilly. It explores clinicians’ attitudes and challenges related to misinformation about obesity management that is accessed by patients on social media platforms. Effective ways to address the content with patients were covered in the Reality Check segment of the Forum, and the impact of this unique educational design is presented in the poster. The poster is authored by Stephanie Johnson, PhD; Hannah Collier, Esq; Jennifer Frederick, PharmD; Bharati Hegde, PhD; and Katie Robinson, PhD. It will be presented by Dr. Johnson on November 6, 2025.

The AHA’s Scientific Sessions is the premier global event in cardiovascular health and science. Each year, the meeting provides access to groundbreaking research, dynamic learning, and networking opportunities. This year, it will be held November 7-10 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

“Tethered Patient–Clinician Education to Improve Awareness and Treatment of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy: A Social Media–Driven Approach” highlights the outcomes of a tethered patient–clinician educational initiative in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), which was supported by an educational grant from Bristol Myers Squibb. It demonstrates challenges related to living with HCM and its management as experienced by patients and how these experiences differ from clinicians’ perceptions. Importantly, this tethered approach led to improvements in knowledge and competency among cardiologists who care for this patient population. The poster is authored by Stephanie Johnson, PhD; Hannah Collier, Esq; Jennifer Frederick, PharmD; and Katie Robinson, PhD. It will be presented by Dr. Johnson on November 7, 2025.
